Wow! They are a beast. Heavy and heavy duty. And heavily Galvanized. Should last forever. Used in Florida sandy soil but was still a job to screw in the ground. But that's good. Dug out about 8" with Post Hole digger to get into firmer soil so the helices would catch. Gonna top that 8" off with cement. They are not going anywhere.

Used 6 to support 8-foot wooden fence after a recent hurricane came through. Expect to remove them once new concrete hardens, but not before the 2020 season is over, if ever!

Very pleased with the two anchors I received. Just screwed one into a pea gravel size beach with occasional 4 to 6" rocks. Anchor bit right in and moved a good sized rock out of the way. I put this in at low tide to anchor a 12'x12' swimming dock. The galvanizing is nice an heavy so it will last in the salt water.
